A: the newer Classic models will ship with voice included and as such will talk a lot, and even play sirens and odd phrases like "she is gonna blow captain!"
If you wish to change that, please go into MISC menu, press enter, arrow over to AUDIO, press enter then use your up and down arrow keys to set to desired talking levels.
Levels defined below.
OFF - No voice
RICK MODE - Arc Fault and Ground Fault warnings only
ERRORS - Any errors such as "no PV voltage", "over voltage" ect.
WARNINGS - All errors and warnings
VERBOSE -Menu help messages the first time the menus are accessed. Informational messages such as status, charge state and all warnings and errors
CHATTY CATHY - Menu help messages every time the menus are accessed, all warnings, errors and stataus info as described above and random hidden messages
